WoOoW… that was my first reaction when my head submerged under under water with the regulator in my mouth allowing me for the first time to breath under water. It was just WoOoW, amazing, breath taking, and….. WoOoW
And then I started thinking, if this is in a swimming pool, wat would be like in open sea. But thats another story.
We did many many exercises: floating, buddy aassist, removing gear under water, everything. After many breaths (and one scuba tank later) our instructor decided that we do our first open water dive on the same day. At one point I wanted to pull out of the whole thing, I just a little “worried” about the Jaw Movies but those quickly disapeared once I started going down the using the rope.
At the begning I did not see any fish.. acutally it was just the Jaw Movies thoughts the blinded me, but once I was 40 Feet below, I started noticing all the fish around me.. different gorgeous colors, different shapes and sizes. It was just amazing!!!
Next weekend I will finish the remaining open water training dives and then the real fun begins. Can’t wait!!!
So Tuesday (2 days ago) was the day I started my scuba lessons. It was short and to the point. We mainly got to know each other, the new divers and the instructor. It was a good lesson and pretty informative but the room had no AC so we were getting frustrated from the rooms rising temperature and wanted to get the heck out of there.
Unfortunatly the group will get their license before I do and that’s becuase I will be else where during the last part of the training. So I am gonna have to wait till I get back from my vacation and finish the last part solo.
Well I was really excited to know that yesterday was the day I was suppose to start my scuba diving lessons, but then all the excitement died away when the instructor called me and informed that the course will be delayed until further notice.
I just wanted to get started as soon as possible. I really cant wait.
I just recieved my PADI diving course book and I am really psyched. I can’t wait to start the confined water lessons. Right after I decided to start taking scuba lessons, I wanted to get a sense of what I will be discovering underwater. Man o man the things you find online about the red sea are just AMAZING!
Any way, I am gonna start reading the course book now to get a head start.
